KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital recently officiated the latest addition to its service, an IVF Fertility Centre.

The new addition is a big investment in part of the hospital in an effort to further elevate the status of the state of Selangor and Malaysia as a premier healthcare service provider, as well as paving the way for Malaysia to become a preferred health tourism destination in the world.

The hospital’s latest addition will open new doors for prospective parents to explore the possibilities and potential of conceiving a child.

Lead by Dr Mohan Raj Varutha Rajoo, his experience of handling of more than 500 procedures enable him to understand the needs of every couple; and is himself an important figure in fulfilling the dreams of couples wanting to have children.

One of the major attractions of KPJ Damansara’s IVF Fertility Centre is that its treatment is amongst the cheapest in Klang Valley with a high success rate to match.
Divided to four groups, for couples below 30 years old success rate is at 61.2%, couples between 31-34 years old at 57.7%, couples between 39 at 42.1% and couple above 40 at 21%.

Equipped with the latest technology services provided by the IVF Fertility Centre include Intrauterine Insemination, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), In-Vitro Fertilization, Surgical Sperm Retrieval  and Oocyte/Sperm Freezing.

The  IVF Fertility Centre also offers PGS or Pre-implantation Genetic Screening; a test that determines whether embryos have abnormal chromosomes’ number; and PGD, Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnostic in which the service allows genetic profiling of embryos prior to implantation.
