| CAFE AT 10 COLUMBIA ASIA HOSPITALS AWARDED FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY CERTIFICATION BY MINISTRY OF HEALTHSEPT 9, 2021 @ 12.45PM Ten Café Columbia outlets, the in-house café at Columbia Asia hospitals, have been awarded the BeSS certification by Malaysia’s Ministry of Health (MOH). The BeSS certification (Bersih, Selamat & Sihat/Clean, Safe & Healthy) is a recognition for food outlet operators who are meticulous about the hygiene of their premises, food safety and quality including nutrition, as well as serving portions that cater to patrons' individual needs. "The credit goes to everyone involved in Café Columbia as this is the result of great teamwork and commitment from them,” said Columbia Asia Manager of Support Services, Nur Eliani Hussein who oversees operations at all Café Columbia branches in the group. The 10 said Café Columbia outlets are located at Columbia Asia facilities namely in Bukit Rimau, Cheras, Iskandar Puteri, Klang, Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Seremban, Setapak, Taiping and the most recent; Tebrau. The latter also received MOH’s Trust My Catering certification for food safety and quality in catering. With this acknowledgement, it is clear that Café Columbia outlets meet the legal requirements under Malaysia’s Food Cleanliness Regulations 2009 which are: 
 Café Columbia is an own brand under Columbia Asia. Each team is headed by a food service manager along with kitchen personnel led by a qualified chef with hotel kitchen experience. The café menu comprises of local and international cuisine.
